ICNHS Batch 2001: 2012 Reunion

It's the 3rd ICNHS Batch 2001 Reunion.

The theme for the 3rd ICNHS Batch 2001 Reunion is ALOHA SA CITYHAY.. KITA TA BHAI. It was a sequel to the Hawaiian Luau Beach Party during the 2nd ICNHS Batch 2001 Reunion held on December 28, 2011, at Alta Beach and Lodging House in Linamon, Lanao del Norte.

The registration started at 9 am in the morning. The program started after eating lunch since the group still waits for other batchmates and while everyone is getting to know each other. The "kumustahan" somehow lessen the waiting hours for other comers.

President Kirk Gaborno started the program proper with 14 attendees. But it was not long enough when 3 others arrived. Each and everyone introduced themselves and shared his/her line of work or the place they were assigned. There were those connected in DepEd, continued studying another course, incline with publication, working mother, connected with tourism, private school teachers and others. It's nice to know that a batchmate is assigned in other places so that one can make a connection especially in traveling or visiting other places one is not familiar with. Making contact with a batchmate would be a great relief for those first timers in a particular place. Contact can be thru cellphone or the social networking site.

Despite the small number of participants, the parlor games were still "bibo". Among these were the Pinoy Henyo, Magngalan Ta Karon and many others. One can see in picture 5 above that registration continues for newcomers while the Pinoy Henyo game is on-going.

Election of a new set of officers for 2013 started at 3 pm. The new set of officers is as follows:

Vice President: Braindol Abad
Secretary: Michelle Eguac
Treasurer: Leah Mae Allere
Auditor: April Servando

Support for every batchmate is expected for the incoming 50th Grand Alumni Homecoming of Iligan City National High School on December 2013. The ICNHS Batch 2001 shall continue to exist for the new year 2013 with the leadership of the previous and new set of officers.
